Do you HAVE to have a passport to enter back into the USA? (I have a stupid real ID but not a passport).
Basically you want both yokes to be lined up if that makes sense? Both bearing caps on the u-joints need to be lined up. Hard to put into words. Other than that, you should be totally fine.
You might see witness marks. But the yokes have to line up (it's called phasing.)

All of this you ask for is super rare. I would call Advance Adapters and put a TH400 or 4L80 behind it. You'll never pull the transmission again! And if you do end up going V8 you'll already have the TH400 or 4L80.
If you do end up sourcing the C4 stuff...make sure you dial in the gate shifter...

Now if you're just adding lights to truck you don't "need" the Switch Pros.
If you do get one...get the one with the highest amp rating per circuit.
Total pain in the ass from my experience. I wouldn't recommend it.
Make sure you're close to a fire hydrant. Utilities can be a nightmare. Triple what you think it should cost.
This is all in CA so it may be different. I would buy a property that has what I want versus building.
