You should swing by the lil impromptu meets we do at Miguel JRs at Menifee Town Center. Usually like 4 or 5 of us on random Fridays. We get a bite to eat the sit around with the kiddos and talk shop/ shit and just hang out.
Dude I love the truck! I'm in Menifee too ha ha! I would love to scope it out and drink some beers one day if you're down?

Got a question for you
Hey trying to figure out a good starting point for my revalve. Ive got a 89 4x4 Toyota pickup extra cab 4cyl of fury 5sp running the Total chaos 2x4 race kit 2.5x12 fox dual rate 500lb over 500lb springs. Full cage deavers in the rear with 16in fox double bypass. So my issue is the front is running through the travel fast and bottoming out, the rear is working well.

i measure from fully shut so how many turns out is what makes my brain happy

you actually tire bounced off that, a combo of bottoming out and coming off the tire squish that flutter mid stack isn't really doing you favors looks like you have plenty of weight in the back so lets see where your adjusters are at and let me know how much shaft is showing at ride height and a picture of the shock body so i can see where tubes are placed on the body.

Lol figured you would like it one direction from the other.
Ya I've got the stock tank still 15 gal then a 32gal cell hi lift jack two spares. The cell made huge improvements from how I got the truck. Once I get back I'll get the pic and measurements
Hey!
I just wanted to say thanks so much for the hookup on the Tensors! Im super pumped to get this thing built and try them out. And you weren't joking about them being true to size. Now I got to check the budget because they would look really good on some 103 Beadlocks!
Thanks Again,
Marshall

When they say "race drilled" does that mean the shoulder is machined flat for 5/8 lugs? Can you still run them with factory lugs?
Stoked to join the BLGT crew. Grew up in it, my old man raced class 7S in the 80’s-90’s, camped down in Baja and in local So.Cal deserts . I love Baja, prerunning/ racing, ripping through the deserts in the multiple cars/trucks I’ve built. Recently Looking to get into the Moab/Rubicon scene, I love all of it !

hey there, give some details about your set up, what kit what's your shock package spring rates the whole shot, each vehicle is a little different and will require a different recipe

for the front you will need a bit more valving compared to the rear due to the motion ratio, depending on what comes in your bypasses you might be too light, for most of these smaller/ mid sized trucks a 3-2-2-1 .020 compression stack and .010 rebound stack will get you very close and then adjust tubes from there.
ADSRACINGSHOCKS
ADSRACINGSHOCKS
you can go very heavy in valving if you have the flow potential in the tubes, your fox should have overlapping tubes which should work very well, one final thing if your not using the full stroke of the bypass on extension you may need to put some rebound valving back in the coilover, but with your JD kit i think you use all of it

Dope. Thanks for all the tips. This should help me get dialed in a lot quicker.
Man have I been out of it to long. Thanks Eliot for even telling me about this forum. And I promise no more after 10pm ambien rants. I promise. Lol. So if everyone is wondering where I went. ( ya probably not). But to bad. I moved back to AZ like 7 -8 years ago. Got into helping a ultra-4 team for a couple years that I meet on a craigslist add. True story. Then just got burnt out. Well I am kinda back.

I have a couple of times?
Hey I saw a post that said you work for Tensor... I was wondering your thoughts on running a set of 35's on first gen Tacoma (off the record of course lol)
I just love the idea of such a light wheel/tire package on my new build.
The build so far! 1993 Ford Bronco
Solo Motorsports stage 4 long travel on 2.5 kings coilovers with cut n turned beams. Ambulance steer with drop angle pitman arm. Shackle conversion in rear with deaver springs and 2.5 king bypass. 35” Yokohama mud terrains on Original 15” polished aluminum wheels. More work to come.

What’s up everyone! Stoked to join, but unlike many, I’m not too familiar with forums. So bear with me! I’m Konner Hancock, own an ‘05 Explorer Sport trac, with a full Gen 2 Raptor conversion. And the cherry on top, she’s got a General Lee wrap. Looking forward to new bad lines but good times!
